Mauritania Independence Day

Mauritania was a country of French West African Colonies. After the World War II, they took benefit from the laws that increases the authorization of local managements. At 1950’s, refusal to colonialism and independence activity quickened. At first it got recognized as an independent member of French Union in the name of Islamic Republic of Mauritania on 28 September 1958. The first constitution of Mauritania came into force on 22 March 1959. At last on 28 November 1960, Islamic Republic of Mauritania got declared as an independent and sovereign country.

Doctor Kasım Sezen, the general president of Sağlık-Der, attended to 28 May Mauritania Independence Day celebrations.
