2nd World Muslim Health Communities Congress

The 2nd World Congress of Muslim Health Communities organized by the Health-Der Headquarters was held at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel in Istanbul between November 28 and December 1, 2017. Nearly 200 non-governmental organizations from around 70 countries participated in the second event of this year's Kogreye. In the inauguration of the congress organized by Prof. Dr. Doğan ÜNAL, the President of the Congress, Ahmet Baha ÖĞTÜKEN, our Minister of Health, as well as a number of representatives of public institutions and organizations attended. In the congress where the World Islamic Health Association elections were held, General Director of Health-Der Uzm Dr Kasım SEZEN was elected as the general secretary of the reunion. Mustafa ŞİMŞEK, Head of Konya Branch, representing the Health-Der Konya Branch, Vice Chairmen Dr M Sait Yalçın and Eyüp AL, took part in the commissions titled "Migration Health" and "Preventive Health Services" after the presentations.
